Dan Giulvezan

During the day I'm a creative geek in Silicon Valley, by night I'm a mobile app developer and co-founder of Guerilla Pixels.

Ahhhh beer. My love affair with beer started a couple years go. I was in BevMo and it hit me that while I knew a bit about wine, I knew nothing about beer. Watching Beer Wars and drinking my first craft beer opened my eyes to a world I wanted to find out more about.

I love enjoying a good craft beer, maybe I could actually brew a decent one? That's what this blog is for. I'm trying to brew, follow along here.

Food app

So I've been tricked into making an app for food holidays.  ;)  Just kidding, nice little app that shouldn't take much time to put together.

Here's a list of possible names for a food holiday's iPhone app (which might also find it's way to Android).  What do you think, have a favorite?  Let me know in the comments or on Twitter at http://twitter.com/dgiul

Beer list from vacation

Well, vacation is pretty much over. Sitting at the airport waiting to board a flight back home.

Had an idea when the vacation started: each time I order a beer, get a different one and try and expand my palate.

Seeing the list all together surprises me a bit too. Good times. :)

Amstel LightBlack Butte Porter
Bud Light Lime
Chimay Blue
Chimay Red
Corona
Fat Tire
Heinekin
Newcastle Ale
Primo Island Lager
Pyramid Hefeweizen
Sapporo
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Stella Artois

The biggest surprise on the list? Chimay Red. I'd never heard if it before, but I can tell it's going to be one I'll be enjoying with some regularity. What a fantastic beer!
